Disaster Relief

God will be glorified!  Our needs for our area are changing often. 
Listed below are just a few of our immediate needs:

Just an update - Since Jan 5:

  • We have completed 15 supply distribution days at our building and 9 remote distribution days.
  • Provided a Gluten Free distribution point.
  • Out of town volunteers have provided 7 hot meal days for the community.
  • Starlink hot spot installed during internet outage.
  • Over 50,000 bottles of water were distributed.
  • Food, clothing, hygiene, building materials and heating suppliesdelivered to Buncombe County, Henderson County, Yancey County, Madison County, Haywood County, Mitchell County.
  • Rental assistance continues to be provided throughout our area to those that have lost their jobs due to the hurricane.
  • Provided hotel rooms for those who didn't qualify for FEMA assistance.
  • Repaired vehicles that were damaged in the hurricane.
  • Provided building materials for damaged homes.
  • Repaired damaged roofs and flooring.
  • Purchased 10 storage sheds to be given to those in need.
  • Assisted with tree removals from houses and properties.
  • Assisted families that have been unemployed due to the storm with:
    • Utility bills
    • Mobile home lot rentals
    • Rental assistance for more than 20 families
    • Groceries
  • Assisted a member with driveway repairs
  • Assisted a member with the lost of his vehicle and home due to the hurricane.
  • Provided propane heaters and propane to several families 
  • Replaced damaged hot water heaters, furnaces, washers and dryers, and other personal property damaged from the storm.
  • Christmas assistance to over 30 families that are struggling due to the hurricane.  
  • Gift Cards given to many in need
  • Many of our members continue to help those in their communities with donated funds.
